Board Governance

The Board of Directors alongside the Bank’s subcommittee members are responsible for the governance, leadership and strategic practices of the Bank. The Board of Directors will hold a meeting once per month along with a General Meeting held annually,

Yoma Bank’s corporate governance framework was developed with the key principles:

Accountability – Our policies establish accountability to our shareholders and guide the Bank’s Board in setting strategic goals and monitoring the Bank’s Management.

Fairness – Fair and equal in fulfilling all shareholders rights in conformity with Central Bank directives, governing legal bodies and regulators.

Transparency – openness and accurate disclosures of material and relevant information and in implementing the decision making processes.

Responsibility – To comply with Central Bank directives, applicable laws and prudent banking principles.

Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM)

In accordance with the Corporate Governance Framework of Yoma Bank, AGM is held annually. Yoma Bank 25th AGM was held on 22 November 2019 with Shareholders, Board of Directors and External Auditors.

Board of Director meeting is held once a month started from 2020 and once every three months in 2019.
