Biographical Details


Daw Khin Mu Mu Myint is a highly accomplished senior executive with over 20 years of progressive experience across commercial banking, strategic partnerships, corporate development, product innovation, financial management, corporate governance, and restructuring for Fortune 100 companies and private firms in diverse industries. In her current role as Chief Consumer Banking Officer at Yoma Bank, she leads a network of over 2,000 retail banking staff across more than 80 branches throughout Myanmar.

Before stepping into her current role, Daw Khin Mu Mu Myint served as the Chief Business Banking Officer, where she played a pivotal role in driving the Bank’s strategy to become a leading bank for businesses in Myanmar. She was instrumental in founding the Commercial and International Banking Division, overseeing the development of products and services, and launching multiple business units across the Bank.

Her previous career includes notable roles at prominent U.S. organizations such as Freddie Mac, the World Bank, Citi Group, JP Morgan, and Prudential Insurance, as well as significant positions at leading conglomerates in Myanmar. She graduated from Baruch College, City University of New York with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Washington.
