Requirements

  • An NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) and a Merchant Contract must be signed.
  •  A Yoma Bank Flexi Everyday Account must be opened.
  • Necessary documents must be provided to open a bank account for Personal/Corporate/SME.
  • Required documents must be submitted as per Know Your Merchant (KYM) requirements, such as Company License, Business License, RCDC License, etc.
  • A merchant website (or) application must be available.
  • The necessary Merchant Onboarding Forms must be completed.

For payments made through the E-commerce Payment Gateway using MPU cards, the limit is set at up to 5,000,000 kyats per transaction.

To become an E-commerce Payment Gateway merchant, the merchant must have a website (or) application. The Business Team will explain the necessary steps in the process. The merchant must also have a Software Developer Team to carry out the required integrations.
To receive E-commerce services, a Merchant Contract must be signed. The salesperson will explain the MDR% that the merchant will be required to pay (this will also be specified in the contract).
The necessary information must be filled out in the Merchant Onboarding Form. A Yoma Bank Flexi Everyday Account must be opened, and required documents will be requested based on whether it is Personal or Corporate.
After completing the merchant onboarding, training will be provided on how to use the E-commerce Payment Gateway Service. The team will assist the merchant until they are fully ready to use the E-commerce Payment Gateway service.
Merchants can view their transactions and obtain reports through the E-commerce Payment Gateway Merchant Portal without any costs.

For transactions made through the E-commerce Payment Gateway, the net amount will be credited to the merchant’s Yoma Bank Flexi Everyday Account on the next business day (T+1), after deducting the applicable MDR%.
Merchants can check the settlement amount using Yoma Mobile Banking and the Yoma Bank Next App.
Merchants can withdraw cash from their Yoma Bank Flexi Everyday Account at any nearby bank branch without restrictions.
(Note: Settlements provided on a T+1 basis will only be processed on business working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. For these non-working days, settlements will be made on the next business day, including amounts for the holidays.)

If merchants encounter any difficulties, the Merchant Support Team is available to assist during business hours.
