Yangon, Myanmar – 16 January Hal Bosher has been nominated on to the Board of Directors of Yoma Bank and will be taking on a new role as Director of Financial Services in the Yoma Group’s CEO office. Hal will step down as CEO of Yoma Bank and will relinquish his day to day operational duties on 1 October 2019.

In his role as a Director of Yoma Bank Board, Hal will focus on developing and managing strategic partnerships for the Bank. Hal will lead the search for a new CEO. During this time, Hal will continue his role as CEO and will work closely with the Management Team to ensure a smooth transition. In his new capacity as Director of Financial Services, Hal will steer the business development and the performance of various businesses for the Yoma Group in the financial services sector.
